1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Cookie Notice ("Notice") of Kiqro INC. ("Kiqro", "we", "us", or "our"). This Notice applies when you access or use our services via our website (kiqro.com) or our mobile applications (collectively, the "Service"). We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as SDKs and device identifiers) to provide, protect, and improve our Service.

2. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you access the Service. In addition to cookies, we may use other technologies like web beacons, SDKs (specifically Google Firebase), and mobile device identifiers that have a similar effect.

3. HOW WE USE COOKIES

We use these technologies for the following purposes:

• Recognition: To recognize you when you return, allowing for faster access and a personalized experience.

• Security & Integrity: To support our security features and detect malicious activity or violations of our Terms and Conditions (via MaxMind).

• Preferences: To remember your settings and preferences (e.g., language or display settings).

• Research & Analytics: To understand how users interact with our Site and to credit Kiqro Points (KP) correctly after task completion.

4. TYPES OF COOKIES

A. By Lifetime:

• Session Cookies: These are temporary and expire once you close your browser or the application.

• Persistent Cookies: These remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them manually.

B. By Party:

• First-party Cookies: Set directly by Kiqro.

• Third-party Cookies: Set by our partners (e.g., Ayet Studios, Google).

C. By Purpose:

• Strictly Necessary Cookies: Essential for the Site to function. This includes cookies for logging in, fraud prevention (via MaxMind), and identity verification (via Didit; previously Veriff).

• Functional Cookies: Used to remember your choices and provide enhanced features.

• Analytical/Performance Cookies: These allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve performance. We use Google Analytics for this purpose.

• Targeting/Advertising Cookies: Set by our offerwall and advertising partners (e.g., Ayet Studios, Torox, AdscendMedia) to track offer completions and deliver relevant content.

5. THIRD-PARTY COOKIES

Our Service contains integrations with third-party partners who may set their own cookies. We do not control these third-party cookies. We recommend you review the privacy and cookie policies of our partners, Ayet Studios, and Tremendous, for more information.

6. HOW TO EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS AND REFUSE COOKIES

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies:

• Cookie Consent Tool: You can adjust your preferences through the cookie banner presented during your first visit.

• Browser Settings: You can set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies.

• Device Settings: On mobile devices, you can limit ad tracking or reset your advertising identifier (IDFA/GAID).

Consequences: Please note that if you choose to reject strictly necessary cookies, you may not be able to use certain features of the Service, and we may be unable to attribute Kiqro Points (KP) to your account correctly.
